American rap superstar Nicki Minaj has opened up about her decision to stop attending church regularly, revealing that her demanding career schedule played a major role in the change.

Speaking during an appearance on the Bryce Crawford podcast, the award-winning rapper addressed long-standing assumptions about her relationship with religion and clarified why she no longer participates in church services as frequently as she once did.
According to Nicki Minaj, her absence from church was not caused by fame itself, as many people have speculated over the years. Instead, she explained that the nature of her work made it increasingly difficult to maintain a traditional church routine.
The rapper noted that as her music career began to take off, most of her performances and professional commitments occurred on weekends, leaving little time for Sunday morning worship.
She said:
“Once my career started taking off, I stopped going to church. I was working on Friday nights and Saturday nights, so the last thing I could do was wake up on Sunday mornings to go to church.”
Despite no longer attending services regularly, Minaj stressed that her faith remains intact and that she continues to maintain a personal relationship with God.
