Popular Nigerian singer; Fireboy DML tenders heartfelt apology to fans after the VIP section comes crashing down during a performance at a concert in Lagos.
Fireboy DML just recently took to his twitter to apologize to his fans for a disaster that took place while he was performing at a concert yesterday.
Apparently, the VIP section which was labeled; “Nativeland” fell apart, endangering the lives of those in attendance.
This was while the YBNL star was dishing out his hit single; “Scatter” aa reported by us at “Mp3bullet.ng”.
Although no life was lost, the event recorded a series of injuries as a brutal Stampede also took place.
Apologizing on the mishap, Fireboy DML wrote;
“Things didn’t exactly go right at NATIVELAND ‘19 but I’m glad we could still vibe and have fun —. Massive thanks to all of you that came out for me and quick recovery to those that got hurt at the stampede. love and blessings”.
The organizers of the music show also put out a statement explaining the cause of the unfortunate event.
According to them an influx of ‘unticketed’ fans gained entry into the event, which caused an overcrowded backstage, and led to the collapse.
We, however, wish those who obtained one injury or the other at the event speedy recovery.
