Naira Marley’s case adjourned yet again as lawyers quarell over seating arrangement in court.
Naira Marley’s fraud court case has been adjourned again. This time, however, it is for a very hilarious reason.
Marley’s trial was supposed to hold today but was disrupted by a heated argument between the two lawyers.
The argument ensued between Mr. Rotimi Oyedepo, the counsel of EFCC ( Economic & Financial Crimes Comission), and Naira Marley’s counsel; Mr. Olalekan Ojo SAN. Two other senior lawyers also engaged in another fight at the same time.
justice Nicholas Oweibo declined to make any order regarding the dispute. He, however, appealed to the lawyers to bear with the government over inadequate space in the courtroom.
The court then adjourned the case to the 11th and 12th of December for accelerated hearing.
That is surely a long wait, but not too long!!
