The Popular singer; Naira Marley made this controversial statement on twitter and ever since many Nigerians have reacted to it.
Marley clearly stated that a lady with a big butt is better than an educated one with a master’s degree. He further went on to put out a video on his Insta story backing up his words and insulted those who would try to counter his words
According to him, the system of the government and today’s economy favors girls with big butt than educated ones with Degrees.
Although the singer is known for always putting out weird and incessant statements, I think he should slow down with these kinds of speech.
Even if what he says may be the case of today’s society, his statement may encourage bottom power and discourage hard work.
Let us not forget that 90% of these so-called Marlians are young boys and girls who are still struggling.
For this country’s progress, we need educated young ladies with hard-earned Degrees, not girls with “Big booty” but no positive impact in society..
