Singer Okafor Uchenna Victor, better known by fans as Mr Real, is once again aiming at Afrobeats veteran D’banj this time with some heavy accusations about their past working relationship.

Speaking in a recent interview, the Legbegbe crooner didn’t mince words as he opened up about what he described as exploitation during the two years he spent under D’banj’s wing.
According to Mr Real, the entire experience left him with nothing but disappointment—and a meagre $500 to show for it.
He explained that he served as an ambassador for D’banj’s CREAM brand, expecting opportunities and rewards that never came. To make matters worse, he alleged that D’banj was handed a car to give him, but instead kept it despite knowing that Mr Real didn’t own one at the time.
“D’banj ripped me. No be say allegedly, he did. You can’t be with a man for two years and all you gain is $500. What kind of wickedness and selfishness is that?” Mr Real said, clearly frustrated by the ordeal.
This isn’t the first time he has publicly called out the Koko Master. Back in 2023, Mr Real accused D’banj of reneging on financial promises and of holding back his share of earnings from their 2018 collaboration, Issa Banger.
With this latest revelation, the rift between the two artists seems far from settled, and fans are once again debating where the truth really lies.
“After working for D’banj for two years, the only thing I got from him was $500. He r!pped me.”
