Mr Real criticizes Skiibii, Mayorkun amid ritual allegations from TikTok influencer
Nigerian artist Mr Real has raised objections towards his colleagues Skiibii and Mayorkun amidst recent allegations involving TikTok influencer Nicki DaBarbie.
The controversy ignited when Nicki DaBarbie accused Skiibii and Mayorkun of attempting to exploit her for occult or ritual purposes. However, both singers promptly refuted these allegations, with Mayorkun going so far as to file a N1 billion lawsuit against TikToker for defamation and false accusations.
In the aftermath of the incident, on Sunday, April 21, 2024, Mr Real expressed disappointment in his fellow artists’ handling of the situation. He voiced concerns that such accusations could tarnish the reputations of celebrities and dissuade girls from associating with them, fearing they might become targets for rituals.
Mr. Real’s critique implies that Skiibii and Mayorkun should have exercised caution and conducted thorough assessments of Nicki DaBarbie before engaging with her. He underscored the importance of celebrities being more discerning in their interactions to prevent such controversies in the future.
