Peter Okoye, aka Mr. P, finally broke his silence in a raw and revealing moment at the AY Live Show. In it, he addressed the longstanding rift between himself and his twin brother, Paul Okoye (Rudeboy), the other half of the iconic duo P-Square.

Peter pointed fingers at the fans for fueling the division that ultimately led to their painful split.

“Fans are the reasons Psquare no dey together today. Two brothers dey do one thing, una talk say one better pass one, e con enter one head, he begin misbehave,” he said to loud reactions from the crowd.

The tension between the brothers escalated not just in private, but in full public view — especially with Peter’s involvement in Paul’s reported arrest by the EFCC, a shocking turn in their turbulent relationship.

But the most dramatic moment came when Peter openly called his brother a liar on stage, challenging Paul’s previous claims that he was the primary songwriter for most of P-Square’s biggest hits.

This bombshell has reignited conversations about what went on behind the scenes during P-Square’s glory days.

The emotional fallout from one of Afrobeats’ most beloved duos continues to spark strong reactions — both from fans who feel torn and those who now better understand the depth of the brothers’ conflict.
