Nigerian music veteran Mr. P (Peter Okoye), one half of the iconic duo P-Square, has joined forces with Ghanaian dancehall powerhouse Stonebwoy for a powerful new single titled ‘ODO’—a vibrant celebration of love, African unity, and cross-border artistry.

Released alongside a cinematic music video, ODO sees the dynamic blend of Afrobeats and reggae-dancehall, with both stars showcasing their strengths: Mr. P’s smooth Afropop vocals and Stonebwoy’s commanding dancehall presence. The track was self-produced by Mr. P and engineered by Goldswarm, delivering a polished soundscape rich in emotion and rhythm.
Titled after the Akan word for “love,” ODO is a soulful, romantic anthem layered with heartfelt lyrics, melodic instrumentation, and a catchy hook destined to become a fan favourite.
The collaboration has been described as a “West African musical handshake,” merging Nigerian and Ghanaian influences into a seamless sonic experience.
Adding to the excitement is a surprise cameo by boxing champion Anthony Joshua in the accompanying visuals, shot in Accra. The video, brimming with vibrant colour, stylish African aesthetics, and high-energy choreography, reflects the pan-African unity and global ambition behind the project.

Speaking on the release, fans online have praised the track’s chemistry, noting how the duo’s synergy elevates ODO into more than just a collaboration—it’s a statement.
With teasers, pre-order campaigns, and social media buzz leading up to the release, ODO is already gaining traction on playlists across Africa and in the diaspora.
