Shazam names Morravey as one of the rising stars to watch out for in 2025
Nigerian artist Morravey has earned a significant endorsement from Shazam, which has listed her as one of the top artists to watch in 2025.
Morravey first captured the public’s attention with her feature on Davido’s “In The Garden” from his record-breaking fourth album, “Timeless.” Her soothing vocals left a lasting impression, which she further showcased in her critically acclaimed debut EP, ‘RAVI.’
After closing 2024 on a high note with her viral single “Ifeneme,” Morravey’s star continues to rise. Shazam has highlighted her as one of its global prospects, recognizing her growing influence and musical prowess.
Her journey with Shazam began in March 2023, gaining traction in Kenya, Tanzania, Ghana, Benin, and Nigeria. She made her debut on the Nigerian Shazam chart in November 2023 with her collaboration with Davido, “MAGICIAN.”
By October 2024, Morravey’s single “Ifeneme” debuted on the global Shazam chart and achieved widespread success across Africa. The track reached No. 2 on the Nigerian Shazam chart, where it spent an impressive 11weeks, while also charting in Cameroon, Ghana, Zambia, and beyond.
