Over 15,000 people have signed an online petition calling for D’banj to be removed as UN Ambassador for peace.
Ever Since Seyitan was detained by the police, D’banj has suffered a backlash from different quarters even his fellow celebrities who condemned his actions calling it oppression and abuse of power.
However, it doesn’t seem like his issue is ending there, as a petition was created to get the United Nation to drop D’banj as Peace Ambassador.
Other brands Heritage Bank Africa, One Africa, CSA Global, and other establishments associated with D’Banj have been petitioned to end their commercial relationship with him and stand in support of victims of sexual violence.
As of the time of this article, the number of people who signed the number has scaled up to 15,387 people who signed the petition.
