One of the first songs the vocalist and fellow artist Uniquestarone have worked on together is this relaxing track. They converse in English and Yoruba about remaining in their own lanes, refraining from grumbling, and making steady progress in their fields.
A drift into Mellymelt’s starting point reveals that the young Afrobeat musician discovered his passion for music when he was just 10 years old and started playing around with music on his parent’s phone. One of his main influences and the legendary Lil Wayne had a significant impact on his musical career.
As his musical journey progressed, Mellymelt took a major leap forward in the current year, releasing two exceptional tracks – ‘Dagbana mi Choco’ and ‘Confession’. On ‘Dagbana mi Choco’ he collaborated with another artist, infusing the song with a distinct and alluring flavor. This collaboration added a unique dimension to the track, amplifying its impact. The name “Melly” finds its roots in Greek origin, signifying “black,” “dark-skinned,” “bee,” “honey,” and “brave strength.
