Popular Nigerian singer; Mayorkun reveals why he uses police as escorts, says they protect him from police,
In Nigeria, being harrassed and brutalized by the police has now become the other of the day. Unfortunately, celebrities are not immune to this abuse of office.
Due to this, many of our favorite celebrities are usually armed with security escorts to protect them from such.
Moyorkun who is one of these celebrities was confronted by a curious fan on twitter, as to why he was heavily guarded anywhere he went, and he gave a very sad reply.
He said;
“Somebody just asked me why I have POLICE around when we go out and I’m sad that my answer wasn’t because of ‘THIEVES’ but ‘POLICE’”
It’s really pathetic how the ones who are meant to protect us are now the ones terrorizing us.
Sincerely speaking, things really have to change as we cannot continue like this.
