Fast-rising Afrobeats sensation Mavo is taking a major leap this December as he prepares to hold his very first headline show in Lagos, a full-blown concert experience titled MAVO LIVE.

The event, slated for Tuesday, December 16, 2025, will light up the buzzing Livespot Entertarium, one of the city’s favourite December hotspots.
The announcement was dropped earlier today, instantly sparking excitement among fans already gearing up for Lagos’ famously chaotic and fun-filled festive season.
The concert poster adds even more flavour: Mavo appears in his signature “Burbur Music” vibe, surrounded by a cosmic-style, starry backdrop.
The poster confirms the details and teases “special guest artists,” hinting that the night might come with a few surprises. The show is being powered by KRL and Livespot, with an email address provided for enquiries.
It’s been a whirlwind 2025 for Mavo—real name Oseremen Ukanigbe Marvin, who has quickly become one of the most talked-about breakout voices on the Afrobeats scene.

His sound, a charged-up fusion of Afrobeats, street energy, and playful Nigerian slang, has created a loyal wave of fans. Even at just 21, he’s already firing off hits, with Escaladizzy and the remix Escaladizzy II featuring Zlatan taking over TikTok, clubs, and major streaming charts.
His upward climb began with his debut project, Ukanigbe, followed by the SANKO and Kilometre EPs, each one sharpening his identity and boldly defining the “Burbur Music” style he’s now recognised for. With his youthful fire and unmistakable delivery, Mavo has cemented himself as part of the new school shaping Nigeria’s evolving mainstream sound.
Set right in the middle of Lagos’ legendary Detty December frenzy, MAVO LIVE is already expected to pull a massive crowd. Fans should keep an eye out for more updates in the coming weeks—especially ticket info and the lineup of extra performers who will be joining him on stage.
