Marc Guiu has officially completed his move to RB Leipzig, bringing his time at Chelsea to a close as the young Spanish forward begins a fresh chapter in Germany.

Guiu joined Chelsea from Barcelona with plenty of promise and a reputation as one of Spain’s emerging attacking talents. However, breaking into a crowded Chelsea squad proved difficult, with limited opportunities making it challenging for him to establish himself as a regular first-team option.
A move to RB Leipzig now gives the 20-year-old a chance to reset and, more importantly, play with greater consistency. The Bundesliga club has built a strong reputation for developing young players, making the switch an interesting opportunity for Guiu at an important stage of his career.

Leipzig will be hoping the striker’s pace, physical presence, and finishing ability can add another dimension to their attack. Regular minutes should also allow Guiu to develop his confidence and gain the experience that was harder to come by during his spell at Stamford Bridge.
For the forward, the transfer represents more than simply a change of clubs. It is a chance to leave behind a difficult period, settle into a new footballing environment, and show why Chelsea and Barcelona were both convinced of his potential.
Now, the focus shifts to Germany, where Guiu will look to adapt quickly to the Bundesliga and establish himself as an important part of Leipzig’s plans for the 2026/27 season.
