A determined young Nigerian named Kelvo King has gone to great lengths to catch the attention of music executive Don Jazzy.

Kelvo took to the streets of Lagos with a placard, expressing his intention to continue appearing daily until he receives a hug from the Mavin Records boss.

As a content creator, Kelvo persisted with this endeavor for an entire week. Notably, even when faced with rain, he didn’t give up; he purchased an umbrella and continued his vigil.

The placard he held throughout his wait in the rain reads “Please hug me Don Jazzy”

His determination bore fruit when he received a message from Don Jazzy himself. The Mavin boss informed him that he was currently out of Nigeria but wanted to appreciate Kelvo’s effort. Don Jazzy requested Kelvo’s account details to send him a gesture of appreciation.

Don Jazzy wrote; “Big man. I no Pey Nigeria o. Sorry. Send your bank details but next time pls don’t be pulling this type of stunts. It’s not safe out there. Appreciate the love still. 40D bless.”

Kelvo wrote: “Thanks boss, I can’t believe this Jesusssssss!! I know it’s not safe but. I must mount here till you come 00000”
