Mavin Records singer Magixx has teamed up once again with Nigerian vocalist and songwriter Shoday for a new single titled Ferawa, bringing their musical chemistry back into the spotlight.
Released through Mavin Records and Canny Consults, the new record follows their previous collaboration on CHE, giving fans another opportunity to enjoy the creative connection between both artists.
This time, Magixx and Shoday take a playful approach to romance, building the song around an entertaining love story inspired by familiar Nigerian expressions and everyday experiences.
The production comes with a refreshing Afrofusion sound, featuring lively percussion, groovy basslines, and subtle synth arrangements. Its relatively simple structure allows both performers to express themselves without overwhelming the instrumental.
On the vocal side, Shoday brings his usual storytelling approach, using conversational lyrics and Pidgin expressions to capture the playful nature of the song. Magixx complements his delivery with smooth vocals and soulful melodies, particularly on the catchy hooks.
One of the biggest attractions of Ferawa is the natural chemistry between the two singers. Their contrasting styles blend effortlessly, creating a record that feels lighthearted, relatable and easy to enjoy.
With its catchy melodies, humorous romantic theme and accessible production, Ferawa arrives as another enjoyable collaboration from Magixx and Shoday, adding to their growing musical connection.
