“Naira Marley never abducted me, stole my $300” – Lil Smart
Former Marlian Records signee, Lil Smart, has made a U-turn on his accusations against his former label boss, Naira Marley.
Lil Smart had previously alleged that Naira Marley was involved in cyberbullying, kidnapping, assault, and robbery. However, in a recent interview with Muyiwa Adejobi, the Public Relations Officer of the Nigerian Police Force, he retracted his claims, stating that the singer never abducted or financially exploited him.
“Naira Marley never abducted me, and he didn’t steal my $300. I thought his boys acted on his behalf,” Lil Smart clarified.
His statement comes after the Nigerian police confirmed his arrest following a petition filed by Naira Marley. A police report stated that Lil Smart was arrested last month at his residence in Mejamogun Estate, Ajah, Lagos, with relevant exhibits recovered.
This latest development raises questions about the ongoing feud between the two and the legal implications of Lil Smart’s earlier accusations.
