    Libianca begs Wizkid for a collaboration after “People” surpasses “Essence” on Spotify.

    Us-based Cameroonian Afrobeats singer, Libianca has revealed that she wishes to work with Wizkid.

    The singer via her Instagram story posted screenshot of a news that reported that her hit song, “People” has surpassed Wizkid’s “Essence” on Spotify.

    While ‘Essence‘ has amassed 168,794,930 million streams on Spotify, Libianca’s “People” surpassed it with a few millions as it has 177,316,379 million streams.

    Reposting the news, Libianca expressed her wish to collaborate with Big Wiz, asking fans to help tell the Afrobeat superstar of her wish.

    She wrote; “Someone tell wiz I just wanna work”

    While fans are still waiting on the Big Wiz’s answer to Libianca’s request, her remix with Nigerian singers, Ayra Starr and Omah Lay on “People‘ remix has gotten greta reviews and amassed millions of streams since its relase.

    Few months back in an interview, Libianca revealed that “People” was inpisred by her struggle with depression.

    In her words;

    “What I was going through at the time was, you know, it was just a very low, low moment. I wasn’t feeling, you know, inspired to do anything really. Just wanted to stay in bed, cry my eyes out, shut the world out, isolate, you know, how it goes. So, I knew that writing or just going into this studio would make me feel better. So, I dunno. I do not like, I’m sorry, gimme a second.”
