Ghanaian award-winning high-life and afrobeats singer Dennis Nana Dwamena, better known as KiDi, has opened up on his most significant achievement in his music career.
In an interview with the Ghanaian renowned broadcaster Gilbert Abeiku Aggrey Santana for Okay FM’s “Ekwansodwodwo” segment, Kidi hinted that his most significant musical triumph was going platinum with his most well-known song, “Touch It,” in India.
To refresh memories, Kidi received his first platinum record in India with his song “Touch It” in June 2022.

He stated that he has never heard the media or the music industry discussing how to get Ghanaian musicians to hit platinum in other countries with their music, hence being one of the few to attain such heights brings him so much fulfilment.
Kidi remarked that he assumed such achievements would be difficult for any Ghanaian singer to achieve, therefore getting near to such accolade made him extremely grateful.
He also stated that every musician’s aspiration is feasible and that anyone may achieve such heights with their musical talent.
