Joao Felix heading to AC Milan! Chelsea agree deadline day loan deal after Portugal international ‘pushes hard’ for Rossoneri transfer

Joao Felix is set to leave Chelsea and join AC Milan on loan for the remainder of the 2024-25 season, with the deal expected to be finalized on the final day of the winter transfer window.
According to reports from Gianluca Di Marzio, Chelsea and Milan have reached an agreement that will see the Portuguese forward join the Rossoneri until the end of the campaign. While some final details are still being worked out, the move appears imminent, as Félix has been pushing for a switch to the Serie A giants.
The 25-year-old joined Chelsea on loan from Atlético Madrid last summer but has struggled for regular game time, starting just three of the 12 Premier League matches he has featured this season.
Sky Sport Italia reports that Milan will pay around €2 million (£1.6m) for the loan, a figure lower than Chelsea’s initial €4 million (£3.3m) asking price after agent Jorge Mendes negotiated a reduction.
João Félix is expected to travel to Italy soon to finalize the move before the transfer window closes, meaning he will miss Chelsea’s Monday night clash with West Ham.
