Rema joins forces with Global Star Jason Derulo on album.
Nigerian superstar Rema is set to collaborate with American singer Jason Derulo on the upcoming album titled ‘Nu King.’ Jason Derulo announced the collaboration on Instagram, revealing the full list of featured artists on the album, which includes Rema along with other notable names such as Michael Bublé, Meghan Trainor, French Montana, Tesher, Nicki Minaj, and Adam Levine, the lead vocalist of Maroon 5.
The album ‘Nu King‘ is scheduled to be released on February 16, 2024. This collaboration comes after Rema and Jason Derulo previously worked together on the TikTok viral song ‘Ayo Girl.’ Jason Derulo has also collaborated with another talent from Mavin, Bayanni, on the remix of ‘Ta ta ta.‘

In addition to his international collaborations, Rema has received numerous nominations at the iHeart Radio Awards. The nominations include categories such as Song of the Year, Best Collaboration, Best New Artist (Pop), Best African Music Artist, and a new category called Pop Song of the Year. The recognition of African artists in international awards showcases the global impact of their music.
