Iyanya discloses reason for his delayed response to Yvonne Nelson’s cheating allegations
Nigerian singer Iyanya has explained why he has not yet addressed the cheating allegations made by Ghanaian actress Yvonne Nelson in her recently published book.
According to Yvonne Nelson, Iyanya cheated on her with Tonto Dikeh while they were dating.
Iyanya stated that if he were to share his side of the story, he would face criticism and accusations of “kissing and telling” and “slut-shaming.” Despite the potential backlash, he expressed his intention to eventually tell his side of the story.
He hinted at an upcoming revelation, indicating that he has something to share with the public.
Taking to his Twitter handle on Wednesday, the singer wrote, “Y’all waiting for my side of the story? If I talk now, I’ll be accused of kissing and telling, sluts shaming, etc.

Iyanya’s response comes after Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie released a song addressing Yvonne Nelson’s claims, where he denied the allegations and stated that he had opposed her decision to abort the pregnancy.
Sarkodie admitted that he was not ready to be a father at that time but had urged Yvonne Nelson to keep the baby.
