    Adekunle Gold, a Nigerian Afrobeats musician, has begged fans to stream both his upcoming song and that of his wife, Simisola, popularly referred to as Simi.

    He announced that his wife will release her song on Friday, February 23, and that he would release his new song, “The Life I chose,” on Wednesday, February 21.

    Adekunle Gold clarified that he needs people to stream their singles since it’s time to pay school fees, and they need to take care of their daughter Adejare.

    Taking to Twitter on Tuesday, he wrote; “I dey drop tonight. @SympLySimi dey drop on Friday. School fees szn. E shaanu, E ba wa bo witi witi”


    Dem say na 4PM TOMORROW! No vex! We moveeee. 4PM TOMORROW! THE LIFE I CHOSE! BIG FISH time! 🦈✨”

    Simi, however, responded to her husband’s post with a few funny crying emojis and a statement that she married a cruise lover.

    “I go marry cruise guy. Jesu shaanu,”  the songstress said.
