Cristiano Ronaldo’s mum, Dolores Aveiro, has been left furious with rumours of a rift between her son and Georgina Rodriguez, calling them “all lies”.
According to the Spanish TV show Socialite, Ronaldo was “fed up” with Rodriguez after the supermodel allegedly spent hours shopping at a Riyadh mall, and the two may soon part ways.
In a social media post, the model denied any feud and stated that “only idiots” trust rumors. Ronaldo quickly followed suit, posting another romantic photo with Rodriguez, this time enjoying a meal and kiss with the comment, “Cheers to love.” And, while opening a shop in Madeira, Portugal, Aveiro clarified the situation, calling the rumors “lies.”
“It’s all lies. “Every couple argues, but what’s been written is a lie,” she stated.
Rodriguez and Ronaldo have been dating for seven years, and on their free days, they are frequently photographed visiting Saudi Arabia. Saudi law prohibits unmarried couples from remaining together, but the celebrity has received an exception and is being handled as an exceptional case.
On Tuesday evening, Ronaldo will be back in action on the pitch against Al-Ta’ee with Al-Nassr in a Saudi Pro League fixture.
