“It is time you retire from music” – Radiogad tells Davido

Controversial media personality Radiogad has sparked reactions online after advising Afrobeats superstar Davido to retire from music and explore other ventures.

In a recent video shared on social media, Radiogad claimed to have listened to snippets from Davido’s upcoming fifth studio album but was unimpressed. He criticized the sound quality, likening it to noise, and suggested that the singer consider learning fashion design instead.

Taking a direct jab at the DMW boss, Radiogad said:
“Davido’s new snippets sound noisy; it sounds like a generator. After carefully listening to Davido’s snippets of his incoming 5th album, all I can say is Davido, it is time to retire; it is time to stop doing music. You don try. Me personally, I go pay for you make you go learn how to sew cloth.”

He further stated that the music industry should be left for artists he considers more musically gifted, such as Wizkid and Burna Boy.

The comments have since sparked mixed reactions among fans, with some defending Davido’s legacy, while others debated Radiogad’s critique of his forthcoming project.
