I can’t wait – Davido says as he teases a new song off his upcoming album
Nigerian music superstar Davido has given fans a fresh glimpse of what to expect from his highly anticipated fifth studio album, 5ive. The award-winning singer took to social media to express his excitement, revealing that he “can’t wait” for the project’s release while previewing an unreleased song from the album.

In the build-up to the album’s launch, Davido recently announced a new single, “Be There Still,” set to drop on March 15, 2025. This will be his final release before the full album arrives on April 18, 2025. 5ive will consist of 17 tracks, matching the number of songs on each of his previous four albums.

Afrobeats star Adekunle Gold has also teased a possible guest feature on the album, further heightening expectations. With 5ive, Davido is set to follow in the footsteps of his record-breaking fourth album, Timeless, which shattered multiple streaming records.
