Flashing back to 2005 on Stage with the likes of Mi, Eva and Bouqui and a host of other music celebs at an Open mic show in Silverbird Galleria Megastore; Hunter G has been running things!
As a Barriga born star, Hunter G started in the church as a drummer boy. in 2003 he formed a rap music group by the name V5(VODKA), the rap group recorded songs with popular award winning music producers like – frenzy (Oya now, Put Your Back), DMM, K-Solo etc.
In 2009, Hunter G switched styles to Gospel Rap and Inspirational. He has since then experienced a tremendous successful music career. He’s performed on different platforms both in Nigeria and South Africa including performance at Victory Outreach International Cape Town which attracted the interest of Renowned Music Executives and CEO like King Shon Dillard of Gold Street Entertainment
His talent also caught the attention of The Voice of Africa, a global publication Magazine that celebrate Africans in Diaspora where he was given an exclusive interview. All through his 4-year B.A program in UNIVERSITY OF ILORIN (2006 -2010) he rocked the so hard, a show wasn’t complete without him. And he his still till this present moment, well sought after and will keep asking for more.
Hunter G is now managed by Ray Media PRODUCTIONS and Nibi Entertainment. He is not signed to any music label but has been recording relentlessly. He recently released a new Single titled 1 Time, off his forthcoming album “The Gift” (Unwrapped)..
