The playmaker for Manchester City, Kevin De Bruyne, has shared his team’s strategy for the UEFA Champions League final versus Inter Milan.
The Champions League final between Man City and Inter Milan will take place on Saturday night in Istanbul, Turkey.
Real Madrid was defeated by Pep Guardiola’s team in the Champions League semi-final match a few days prior, and Inter Milan ousted AC Milan from the competition.
De Bruyne stated before of the match that Man City must score one more goal and defend better than Inter Milan, adding that the Premier League champions must play the Serie A giants as they are accustomed to.
“Inter have won the Coppa Italia and won almost all their games at the end of the season. They have a clear identity and a well-defined system. Nobody thinks it will be easy against Inter, and it is a final, so we have the same chances,” De Bruyne said (via Football-Italia).
“We must score one more goal and defend better than them. It’s always the same story, to be honest, I think we must play as we know.”
Man City would become only the second English club to complete a triple if they defeat Inter, with Man Utd being the only other team to accomplish the extraordinary accomplishment.
