This development comes shortly after the announcement of the nominees for the 17th edition, further heightening anticipation for the awards night.
With the Headies returning to Nigeria after two years of being hosted abroad, fans and industry players eagerly await a thrilling event featuring top-tier performances and a celebration of musical excellence.
Founded in 2006, the Headies Awards have grown to become one of the most significant platforms for recognising Nigerian and African music talent.
The last edition, held in Atlanta, USA, was the second time the ceremony was hosted outside Nigeria. With its return to Lagos, expectations are high for a night of glamour, competition, and groundbreaking musical moments.
As the new date approaches, all eyes remain on the organisers to see if any further changes will be made in the lead-up to the event.
