Here’s what you should expect if Rema, Fireboy DML, and Joeboy should collaborate on a song.
Three new generation fast-rising artists, same style, different skills, one song!. The thought of this scares and excites me at the same time!
This year brought forth three sets of young talents, who successfully took over and spiced up things in the Nigerian music scene.
They go by the name; Rema, Fireboy DML, and Joeboy.
Well, as they say, one step at a time, so first of all, I will briefly walk you through a brief music lesson about these three music gods individually, then we go to the main issue.
Rema
Divine Ikubor aka Rema is a 19-year-old fast-rising singer, hip hop rapper, songwriter, stage performer, and model
The young star came swinging out the gates early this year with his mega-hit; “Dumebi“. Following his hit single, he recorded other songs like Bad commando“, “Corny“, “Spiderman“, “American Love “, and so on.
Since his arrival, the Mavin artist has no doubt won over the heart of many music lovers, especially with his outstanding vocals.
One year in active music, the singer has bagged himself several awards including “Next rated“ at The Headies, and “Best music video” at AFFRIMM19.
Asides these awards, he also has his song; “Iron man“ included in Barack Obama’s summer playlist of 2019, and “Dumebi” still topping the iTunes charts in Nigeria.
With the speed of light, Rema has successfully built himself a large and rigid fan base home and abroad and is successfully skating to a global level.
Fireboy DML
The popular sensational singer, broke into the music industry almost the same time as Rema with the release of his classic jam “Jealous”
Fireboy DML, who is currently signed to veteran rapper; Olamide’s YBNL, won the hearts of many with this tune.
He further went on to drop other heartwarming hits like; “What if I say“, and “King”
Just recently “Mp3bullet.ng” reported that he dropped his debut album; “Laughter, Tears, and Goosebumps”. Ever since release, this album has been doing exceptionally great!.
Apart from his beautiful vocals, the singer has an outstanding skill, when it comes to songwriting.
Finally,
Joeboy
Joseph Akinfenwa Donus aka Joeboy is Nigerian afro-pop singer-songwriter.
In March, Joeboy released the easy-listening love song “Baby“. This song took over all our radios and TV stations and became the favorite of many as at then.
Following up, he released another hit; “Begining”, and did a massive collaboration with DMW act, “Mayorkun” to create another Banger; “Don’t call me back”.
Joeboy also has an EP out which is titled “Love and Light”.

All three have very wonderful vocals and are very good songwriters, no that’s all you need to make an exclusive love song!
