Nigerian singer Harrysong has reignited public conversations with a bold declaration about his stance on polygamy, following a tumultuous period in his personal life.
Around ten months ago, Harrysong accused his estranged wife, Alexer Peres, of infidelity, alleging that she became pregnant by another man while still married to him.
Alexer denied these claims and, in turn, accused Harrysong of being unfaithful and abusive throughout their marriage.
The drama between the former couple reached new heights when Harrysong took to social media with a post that has sparked intense reactions. In the now-viral message, Harrysong simply wrote:

This statement comes after a highly publicized fallout between the singer and his estranged wife, whom he married in 2021. The cracks in their relationship became evident in late 2023 when Harrysong accused Alexer of cheating during their marriage.
He even alleged that she had been unfaithful before their wedding, implying that their entire relationship had been built on a foundation of betrayal.
However, Alexer strongly rejected these claims, sharing a video in which she accused Harrysong of domestic abuse and emotional manipulation.
She alleged that Harrysong physically assaulted her during her pregnancy and manipulated her into silence by leveraging his celebrity status. “He beat me when I was pregnant. He said no one would believe me because he is a celebrity,” she claimed in the emotional video.
