    Guinness World Records (GWR) has revealed that Drake’s hit song ‘One Dance,’ featuring Nigerian superstar Wizkid and British singer Kyla, has achieved a historic milestone by becoming the first song to surpass one billion streams on Spotify.

    The announcement, made through a tweet on X (formerly Twitter), has sparked widespread excitement among music fans worldwide. Released in 2016, ‘One Dance‘ was a global sensation, dominating charts and cementing its place as one of the most iconic tracks of the decade.

    Confirming the achievement, GWR tweeted: “The first song to reach one billion streams on Spotify was One Dance by Drake, Wizkid and Kyla.”

    The Weeknd’s latest accomplishment places him far ahead of fellow Canadian stars Justin Bieber and Drake, who each boast 15 tracks surpassing 1 billion streams.
