Pep Guardiola heaps praise on Man City teenager Rico Lewis for performance in Liverpool win.
During the 3-2 victory over Liverpool in the Carabao Cup fourth round, Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola was blown away by teenager Rico Lewis, saying the team is lucky to have him for many years to come.
The young right-back, who started in attack with Mohamed Salah and Darwin Nunez for the Reds, put on an all-action performance.

Lewis has started and scored in the Champions League and has already made three substitute appearances in the Premier League this year, but following the victory on Thursday night, his star has never been higher.
‘Long, long time ago I didn’t see a performance like Rico Lewis, long long time ago,’ Guardiola told Sky Sports.
’18 years old, playing against Liverpool with the big stars up front.
‘The way he played with the ball and without the ball, we are incredibly lucky to have this player for the next decade, I’m pretty sure.
‘Hopefully the club can take him, because he was exceptional, the game he played was exceptional.’
