Comedian, Gbenga Adeyinka sues Peruzzi over absence at show
Gbenga Adeyinka 1st, a comedian, actor, and MC, has filed legal action against DMW Music artist, Tobechukwu Okoh a.k.a Peruzzi, over his absence from one of the 2022 editions of the Laffmattazz with Gbenga Adeyinka and friends.
The Nation reports that Adeyinka gave his attorneys the go-ahead to file an N100 million lawsuit against the musician after numerous attempts to address the issue were met with resistance.
According to documents submitted by Adeyinka’s attorneys, Peruzzi was supposed to perform at the June 12 Laffmattazz event in Akure, Ondo state, with Gbenga Adeyinka and friends after the comedian had paid N2.5 million for his services.
However, Peruzzi did not show up.
Additionally, it was learned that Adeyinka had spent an additional N1.5 million on Peruzzi’s airfare, accommodations, and transportation to and from the airport.

According to a report in The Nation, Peruzzi also received a legal notice from a Udomah Daniel Idoteyin for failing to appear at a wedding ceremony in Uyo, Akwa Ibom, despite having been fully paid.
Idoteyin initiated legal action to seek redress and recover the sum of N3.670m in performance fees from Peruzzi, who failed to appear or perform at his wedding despite having paid his fees.
