Renowned Nigerian gospel singer Frank Edwards has paid a touching tribute to his mother, expressing deep gratitude for her profound influence on his music career.

During the Mother’s Day celebration, Edwards reflected on a pivotal moment in his journey—when he was on the brink of signing a $320,000 deal to sell his entire music catalog.
His mother, however, vehemently opposed the agreement, insisting that the ₦150,000 she had invested in helping him set up his studio was worth far more than the tempting offer. She emphasized the value of patience and divine timing.
Determined to protect his future, she even confiscated his international passport to prevent him from traveling to finalize the deal.
At the time, Edwards struggled to understand her perspective, questioning how her modest investment could outweigh such a lucrative opportunity.
Looking back, he now acknowledges the wisdom in her words. He credits his mother’s unwavering faith and divine insight for his success, stating that her guidance has never failed him.
In his heartfelt tribute, he described her as an “impenetrable wall of fire” and thanked her for always aligning him with God’s plan.
