Nigerian singer, songwriter, and producer Fido has opened up about his dream of working with some of the world’s biggest music stars, naming Chris Brown and Billie Eilish as top priorities on his collaboration wishlist.

Speaking in an interview on Thursday, August 14, 2025, the Afrobeats act explained that these choices reflect his versatility and eagerness to push creative boundaries.

“I’m looking at Chris Brown… looking at Billie Eilish,” he revealed when asked about his international collaboration goals. While admitting that teaming up with Billie Eilish might seem unlikely due to their contrasting styles, Fido stressed that he is always willing to experiment.

“I’m someone who can adapt to any sound that comes my way,” he said. “If I work with Billie, I’d take elements from her style and blend them into mine. I’m sure it would be something crazy.”

Fido’s bold aspirations mirror a growing wave of Nigerian artists seeking to merge Afrobeats with global sounds and broaden their reach. By expressing interest in such diverse talents, he signals a readiness to bridge genres in unexpected ways.

Although no official collaborations with Chris Brown or Billie Eilish have been confirmed, his statement has sparked anticipation among fans eager to hear what a fusion of their worlds could deliver.
