Nigerian singer and songwriter Ayoleyi Hanniel Solomon, popularly known as Reekado Banks, has released the remix to his mega-hit “Ozumba Mbadiwe,” which features Fireboy DML, and music fans have reacted to the song.

The remix for the big single has elicited mixed reactions from music lovers, with many claiming that the collaboration is “unnecessary.”

The talented singer kicked off 2022 in style, dishing out a mellifluous remix of his critically acclaimed hit “Ozumba Mbadiwe,” and this time, he collaborated with YBNL’s wunderkind, Fireboy.

The former Mavin Records signee, who recently revealed the reason for his vacation from the music scene, assures his fans that there will be no hiatus this year; it’s tuned upon tunes.

Produced by gifted beatsmith P.Prime, “Ozumba Mbadiwe Remix” is Reekado’s first release of the year. It will serve as a springboard for his numerous other releases this year.

As expected, music fans have commented on the song and its mixed reaction. While some sections welcome the collaboration, others describe the remix as “unnecessarily” long.
