Falz talks candidly about his romantic past and when he was last in a relationship.
Nigerian rapper Falz recently revealed on the Morning Rush Show that he hasn’t been in a romantic relationship since he was 18 years old, dating back to 2008.
When asked about his last relationship, Falz chuckled and admitted, “My last relationship was in 2008; I was 18 years old precisely. It’s not like I’m running away from it; it’s just been like a rollercoaster, with different things happening for different reasons. It keeps changing, and I just haven’t felt ready.”
Pressed further about whether he feels ready now or in the near future, especially with his career blossoming, Falz responded with optimism, saying, “You never know; maybe the gold era is the era.”

Curious about what attracts him to a woman, the host asked Falz the question. He emphasized that his interests have evolved beyond physical appearances to focus more on a woman’s aura and energy.
Falz elaborated, “The aura, the energy, the swag. When I say the aura, I don’t mean that loosely. I used to focus on superficial things like light-skin or physical attributes, but now it’s about the kind of energy you exude.”
He recounted a recent experience where he felt a deep connection with a lady purely through her aura, without needing to exchange words. “I met someone the other day at an event, and we just sat down together. We looked at each other, and without saying anything, we had introduced ourselves. That’s the aura! If I meet someone who has that vibe, that’s enough to ignite a connection,” Falz explained.
This perspective reflects Falz’s maturity in relationships, valuing deeper connections and genuine chemistry over superficial attractions.
