Popular Nigerian rapper and actor Folarin Falana, widely known as Falz, has reacted strongly to the recent deadly attack in a Kwara community, calling out celebrities and social media influencers who continue to publicly support the federal government amid rising insecurity.
The lawyer-turned-rapper made his stance clear in a viral video circulating on social media, where he also urged governments at all levels to ensure justice for the victims of the killings that occurred in Kwara State on Tuesday, February 3.
In the video, Falz expressed deep frustration with the state of the nation, criticising not just the Federal Government but also Nigerians, political leaders, and religious figures.
According to him, the absence of arrests or prosecutions after such large-scale violence has made killings feel disturbingly routine.
He also aimed at the Senate, faulting its position on the proposed amendment of the Electoral Act, while questioning the overall seriousness of leadership in addressing the country’s challenges.

“They’re killing scores and scores of people every day. But today, people will go to church. Your Daddy G.O., your papa, will tell you to sit down there and pray. Pray that God will come and save you.
“They’ve started campaigning for the next elections. ‘Relax, Tinubu is fixing Nigeria.’ He is? Okay,” Falz said partly.
His comments have since sparked conversations online, with many Nigerians echoing his concerns about accountability, governance, and the growing normalisation of violence across the country.
