Nigerian singer and rapper Erhiga Agarivbie, better known by his stage name Erigga, has reacted to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission’s (EFCC) penalty for landlords who rent houses to internet fraudsters, popularly called “Yahoo Boys.”

The anti-corruption agency recently warned landlords that renting their properties to Yahoo boys could result in a 15-year prison sentence.

The Commission announced this on its official Twitter account, where its legal and prosecution teams will discuss the matter:

“Landlord: Give your house to Yahoo boys, spend 15 years in jail,” at 6pm, Wednesday, June 26; on Twitter Space.

Pondering on the subject matter, Paper Boi wondered what ought to be the punishment for the crop of ‘corrupt’ leaders in the country.

     Erigga tweeted:

“Dem say 15 years imprisonment for landlord when rent house to yahoo boy but what about country when yahoo men dey rule?”
