One of the Nigerian singers, DMW Boss, Davido has stirred reactions on social media with his new tweet.

The multiple award-winning singer made a declaration that the entertainment industry saved the entire country.

    Davido tweeted:

    “ENTERTAINMENT SAVED NIGERIA!”

Davido has been known to be the type of singer that expresses himself mostly on social media, he understands timing and when to drop it.

Shortly after sharing his view about the current situation in the country, some social media users react to his tweet.

    See reactions below:-

@danielregha: “Entertainment hasn’t saved Nigeria; It only helps in catapulting Nigeria & Nigerians creativity in the limelight. Honestly speaking entertainment has done more harm than good cos a lot of people especially the youths emulate some immoral behaviours from what they hear & watch.”

@iamabiodunaa: “No, advanced technology did. There has always been entertainment. Technology made it bigger and easily accessible.”

@thechristomain: “In Africa, Nigeria is the biggest in entertainment, not that there’s no technology there, it’s same just as it is in Nigeria, however, Nigerian artists put more work and carrying the industry outside Africa.”

@2dreamz: “I wouldn’t say “saved Nigeria” because I think Nigerians are amongst the most talented and hardworking people in Africa, in every domain. But yes, Entertainment has added a lot more weight to Nigeria’s CV as a country in the international community. I absolutely love Nigeria.

You can tell that to Ugandans. In Africa Nigeria is the biggest in entertainment, not that there’s no technology there, it’s same just as it is in Nigeria, however Nigerian artists put more work and carrying the industry outside Africa

Next country like Nigeria is South Africa

Get the point before you comment. He downplayed the efforts of the artists using technology.
Yes, technology played a vital role, no doubt. But I’m letting you all know without the effort of these guys, we’ll just be like Uganda. Go thru the post and try to get the point now ✌🏿

When we thought it was over, he shared another tweet:

COUNTRY DON CHOKE O .. e don reach sote even dem sef wan run!

The second tweet generated another reaction, see below:

@DanielRegha: Nigeria is in chaos as tribalism, sexism, religious discrimination, bandits invasions, terrorists attacks etc. continues & the govt does little or nothing to tackle these pressing issues at hand. It’s a pity we Nigerians are our own problem, God help us cos the country is scary.
    @thesheddyking:
Make them just sell the country, make all of us share the money
