Falz who has been one of the frontiers of the EndSARS protest gave an overview of why the Special Anti-Robbery Squad was created.

When asked if he was afraid to die like others victims of the protest, said he’s not scared to die, because he can easily get killed by bad roads, poor healthcare system, unemployment, and hunger.

“We have a seriously high level of poverty, there’s unemployment. We’re in a critical state because of how much corruption… we continue to see… What kind of life am I living anyway?”
He said why the Nigerian youth are speaking against the SARS unit is due to its social profiling and brutality.

Falz also said that the major issue surrounding the disbandment of the police is that the same claim has been made continuously over the years.

He added that the Nigerian government is not making any effective implementation of some of the reforms as they claimed.
