With a vast career, Elizy returns with “Kamalo,” probably the last song of the year.
It’s an emotional Afrobeat song that was produced after a get-together with friends in downtown Lagos, which included esteemed producer Supatee.
Supatee’s appreciation for the song “Oja” from Elizy’s “Road to Melodie” album came up during their talk. Elizy and Supatee took advantage of the chance to create the innovative new genre known as “HighlifePiano,” by creatively fusing Afrobeat and Highlife components.
The outcome was a fantastic song for the year’s finale, “Kamalo,” which is among Elizy’s greatest compositions to date and definitely not one to be missed.
