Why I want to work with only Falz – Eedris Abdulkareem
Veteran rapper Eedris Abdulkareem has expressed his desire for a musical collaboration with popular musician Folarin Falana, also known as Falz.
In a recent episode of The Honest Bunch Podcast, the Nigerian hip-hop legend revealed his admiration for Falz, referring to him as the only conscious artist among the new generation.
Abdulkareem stated his preference to collaborate exclusively with Falz at the moment, emphasizing his recognition of Falz’s commitment to conscious music.
When asked about how he would like to be remembered by the new generation of artists, Abdulkareem asserted, “For the truth that I stand for.”
On which new generation musician he would love to make music with, the rapper said; “I plan to collaborate with any new generation Nigerian artiset that is conscious enough. Yes, Falz.
Falz is the only conscious artiste in this new generation. Who else? If your music is not adding value, no matter how far it goes, I don’t give a damn, because the lifespan is three or four months.
You will have to do another song to replace that one. But when the song is evergreen, it will always be evergreen.”
