The oil price has crashed to a very low point that oil-producing countries are now forced to trade at a negative price.

Nigeria which is one of Africa’s biggest producers of Oil and has its revenue and GDP dependent on Oil trading would also be severely affected due to this crash.

Don Jazzy has suggested a solution to how the Government could try and resolve the issue and at the same time help its citizens during this lockdown.

The Mavin record boss said that the President should hold a meeting with the thirty-six state Governors of Nigeria so as to plot a robust plan to solve the Oil crisis.

    He also wrote,

I believe we are not subsidizing fuel consumption at the moment, so the earmarked funds for that should go into key sectors of the economy like education and health. This is the time to distribute the little we have fairly across the country so the masses don’t suffer

Thank you @BudgITng. According to our constitution, the 36 states' Governors and the CBN Governor are important members of the National Economic Council. It's about time the @NGRPresident brought them all together to have a robust plan moving forward as this #Oilcrisis… https://t.co/yPPGDhflT0
