    Don Jazzy Speaks on How Ladipoe’s Stage Name Came to Be

    Mavins record boss Don Jazzy has taken to his social media page to speak on how the name of one of his artists Ladipoe came to be.

    Don Jazzy who made this revelation in reaction to a fan’s who narrated the legal challenges he faced with his stage name said that Ladipoe’s initial stage name was Poe.

    According to Don Jazzy Ladipoe had to change his name fro Poe to Ladipoe because of copyright issues.

    Ladipoe is a Mavins record artist that got famous with his Simi’s collaboration ‘Know You’

    Narrating the legal challenges with his signature name, the fan who is an upcoming artiste  wrote:

    u guys i had to change my name to cruel santino cause one man in spain didnt want to free the name for me. (copyright issues sha) so all my music is gonna be under cruel santino from now love u. go stream e.o.t.w thnxxx

     

    Responding to the fan post, Don Jazzy wrote:

    That’s why we switched Poe to Ladipoe too. Sorry about that. We will sha find you anywhere. If u like change name to *%#~^*!!
