Don Design discusses life after AKA, “A step at a time”.

Since the passing of his close friend, rapper Kiernan Jarryd Forbes, better known to fans as AKA, creative director, DJ, and fashion designer Don Design — real name Tshediso Mokoko — has appeared to struggle. However, as of late, he has shared with his Instagram followers how he has managed to remain composed during his period of mourning.

Don was held responsible by many of AKA’s fans for allegedly being an accomplice in the fatal shooting of the adored late South African musician after CCTV footage of Don in what many online viewers claimed to be suspicious behaviour after the death of AKA on Florida Road, outside Wish Restaurant in Durban, on February 10, surfaced.

Don has had his head underwater ever since AKA’s funeral, but suddenly it seems like he’s ready to pick up the pieces and resume his life.

On Wednesday, Don uploaded a photo of himself to his Instagram account with the message, “A step at a time”.

He has reportedly resumed work and returned to the club scene, according to his social media.

Meanwhile, According to Tony Forbes Don Design, the closest friend of Tony Forbes’ son AKA, gave him a poignant gift after the rapper passed away in February.

In an interview with You Magazine, Forbes and Lynn Forbes, AKA’s parents, discussed their Feelings following their son’s sad death.
