DJ Tunez has announced that his new collaboration with veteran American singer Ashanti will be released on Friday.
DJ Tunez has been teasing his collaboration with Ashanti with a video since July, and he’s finally ready to drop the new single with the announcement of a release date.
On Monday, October 25th, 2021, he announced via his Instagram page that the song would be coming out on Friday.
On Thursday, July 8, 2021, the US-based DJ posted a video of their encounter to his Instagram feed.
In the footage, DJ Tunez is filming the American Singer as she exits their studio session and heads to her car.
As they stepped out together, he says to her; “How you feeling? We just recorded the fire of the year. You feel me?”
He captioned the video;

Aside from his DJ skills, the Starboy artist is known for smash hits like ‘Iskaba,’ which he collaborated on with Wande Coal, and ‘Causing Trouble,’ which he collaborated on with Oxlade.
In 2020, he enlisted Wizkid, Adekunle Gold, Omah Lay for the samh hit, “Pami.”
He also recently released a collaborative EP with J Anthoni, a rising singer.
