Wizkid Reportedly Earns Record-Breaking $3 Million for Performance at AIA Sound Festival in Denmark

Nigerian global music sensation Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, is once again the centre of attention, this time for reportedly pocketing a staggering $3 million for a single performance.
The Grammy-winning superstar is said to have received the massive paycheck for headlining the AIA Sound Festival in Copenhagen, Denmark, on August 2, 2025. The amount, when converted, is around ₦4.5 billion, making it one of the highest ever reported fees for an African artist at a single event.
According to a report shared by media outlet Afrika World, which cited CNN as its source, the payment sets a new record, positioning Wizkid as the highest-paid African performer of all time.
