Popular Nigerian disc jockey DJ Tunez has broken his silence on social media following swirling rumours of a physical altercation with Burna Boy.
The incident reportedly unfolded on Monday night, April 6, at the much-publicised Obi’s House event, hosted by DJ Obi at the Lagos residence of nightlife mogul Obi Cubana.
While neither party has issued an official statement, viral videos and eyewitness reports painted a chaotic scene, allegedly turning violent.
Sources say the confrontation occurred in the VIP section of the event. Eyewitnesses described a disagreement between the two camps that escalated quickly, with some claiming it became “ten against one.”
Several reports suggest DJ Tunez was on the receiving end of the scuffle, allegedly confronted by members of Burna Boy’s security team.
The root cause of the altercation remains unclear, though speculation points to long-standing tensions between the “Wizkid FC” and “Outsiders” factions. Fans eagerly awaited confirmation or denial, keeping the online chatter alive throughout Tuesday.
Amid the speculation, DJ Tunez finally addressed the situation on his X (formerly Twitter) account with a cryptic post:
“OGBAFIA NUMBER 1 DON WAKE OOO!”
The brief message has since fueled further discussion among fans, leaving many interpreting it as a playful or defiant response to the viral drama.
